It started with the Fall Ball on Friday night, continuing with contra dancing on Saturday, interspersed with Patty’s birthday party, and back to dancing, well worth the driving as it was a great band and caller.
Sunday morning the dancing continued with a marvelous out doors breakfast catered by Steve, dancing ending at 2;00. I drove on to Ellen’s in St. Pete, where she was having a Halloween music jam with her wonderful food. it was Dead Man’s Day or something like that – in honor of Halloween, so it was dead man’s bread and soup – she makes delicious, very very healthy food, always fun to go there. There were 6 of us playing music and there can never be anything bad about that! I left in time to go to my monthly Jewish book club, where we discussed “In the Neighborhood” – soon to go hear the author later on a different blog for this one). Lively disucssion, more deserts – what an eating day! I decided that was enough excitement for one day and came home afterwards!
