Just went to a thank-you coffee, given by OAT and Grand Circle. It was very nice. About 350 of us attendng, more old than young, I must say. I guess more Grand Circle people. Anyway, it was at a hotel, very good breakfast, then a nice guy and large staff to “thank” us, slide presentation of the world, all the discounts available, all the new trips, how to get a free trip, a drawing. Mostly it really made my mouth water. I added up my countries I have been in – 66 to date – I think I didn’t forget any. And of course a list of where I still want to go. I’ve got to figure out a way to get somewhere again! Maybe if we pass up one year and go the next I’ll be able to do it. Lots of these people travel all the time – made me really jealous! Anyway it was a lovely morning. I just realized why there were so many old people. It was in the morning….working people couldn’t attend. Oops!
